Problem:
Need to send Remittance Advice from payment journal from Accounting@company.com email, not info@company.com email address it is currently coming from in Business Central.
Solution:
The US remittance advice report used to send remittance advice from the payment journal does not respect the Yes (Prompt for Settings) for email on Document Sending Profiles. It uses the email account that is selected as the default account.
You can find the default email by going to Email Accounts and expanding the Process menu on each account. The email account selected for default has “Set as default” grayed out for selection. In our example, info@company.com is set at the default email account.
If the remittance advice is the only email being sent that does not allow for email account selection, then adding Accounting@company.com as a new shared email account and setting it as the default email account could be hte answer. Make certain to inform all users of the default email change.
This is the only OOB solution I am aware of. There may be apps available to assist with this challenge if the above solution is not viable for your organization.
